This Was Hard

Writing this novel was hard. Editing it was hard. Getting the cover painting from Mark Thomas was easy, because he’s super handy with a paintbrush. Figuring out how to make e-books was hard. Figuring out how to design paperback and hardback books and getting them into the right format and uploaded to the place… hard. Opening the accounts at the various book producers (Amazon, Ingram) was. Understanding the formats. Uploading things, waiting days, weeks even, for proof copies. Figuring out pricing. Getting this website and starting to understand how to edit webpages and create things like blogs on Squarespace… And that’s just the beginning.
